Research on Optimization of Bridge Maintenance Strategy Based on NSGA-Ⅱ Algorithm
This paper proposes an improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-Ⅱ)for optimizing the inspection and maintenance strategy of reinforced concrete bridges during their operational cycle. The algorithm overcomes the shortcomings of the original algorithm and improves its application efficiency in bridge inspection and maintenance strategy optimization.A bridge inspection and maintenance strategy optimization model was established with bridge reliability indicators and inspection and maintenance costs as the optimization objectives.Based on a reinforced concrete bridge in China, the optimal maintenance strategy scheme was solved. The results indicate that substantive inspection and maintenance can improve the reliability index of bridge structures, ensuring their safety performance. Moreover, preventive testing and maintenance can significantly reduce the rate of reliability degradation of bridges and reduce maintenance costs, but the frequency of testing and maintenance will increase significantly.
