An Analysis of the Organizational Strategy of the International Development of Higher Vocational Colleges under the Belt and Road Initiative—Taking Guangdong Communication Polytechnic as an Example
Accelerating the process of internationalization under the the Belt and Road Initiative is an important breakthrough for higher vocational colleges to achieve high-quality development,and optimizing organizational management is the basic guarantee to ensure the continuous implementation of internationalization projects in higher vocational colleges.Based on the theoretical framework of Jane Knight's internationalization organization strategy of higher education,this paper analyzes the obstacles to the current internationalization process of higher vocational colleges,and takes Guangdong Communication Polytechnic as an example to propose that under the the Belt and Road Initiative,higher vocational colleges should:(1)take the initiative,improve the top-level design,and actively create an international construction atmosphere;(2)highlight effectiveness,strengthen organizational management,and initiate international quality assessment procedures;(3)increase investment,improve supporting services,and continuously optimize the international construction environment;(4)put people first,adhere to internal training and external attraction,and strengthen the construction of an international teaching staff.
