How Can High-impact Educational Practices Promote Undergraduate Employment
Based on the"National Survey on Learning Experience and Career Develop-ment of Undergraduates in Agriculture",it explores the linkage between high-impact educa-tional practices and undergrads'career expectations,choices,and development.The findings reveal that students engaged in such practices aligned with their career expectations,signifi-cantly influencing their career choices.Their career expectation and participation in these practices were interacted,undergoing a process of reflection and reconstruction.While these practices positively impacted graduates'career development,the impact varied among differ-ent graduation years.Cognitive and non-cognitive abilities mediated the influence of these practices on career development.
