The Academic Development Outline of China Moral Education in the First Half of the 20th Century
In the first half of the 20th century,the academic development of China moral education experienced such four major historical stages:initiation(1902-1912),shaping(1912-1927),deepening(1927-1939),and adaptation(1939-1949).During this period,sig-nificant achievements were made in introducing the western moral education achievements,studying basic theories of moral education,developing school moral education curriculum and textbooks,and exploring the discipline of moral education in universities.Its main expe-riences include preliminary exploring the moral education academic system oriented by theo-retical problems,learning from the western moral education academic achievements,and continuously consolidating the disciplinary foundation of moral education.
