The Historical Review on the Construction of Education Power and the Lead of Higher Education
Since modern times,from saving the country through education to rejuvena-ting the country through science and education,from building an educational power to build-ing an educational power,China's national destiny has undergone profound changes.Under different circumstances,education has always been regarded as a crucial force driving social development in China.To become an education power,it is imperative to become a higher education power.Reviewing the proposals and research process on the construction of educa-tion power,both of them reflect the evolution track from building a higher education power to building an education power.Standing at a new historical starting point,vigorous develop-ment of higher education must be pursued through such measures as enhancing the quality of nurturing talent,strengthening educational capabilities,serving high-quality development,and expanding high-level international openness,with higher education leading the way in driving the construction of education power.
