Labor Education,the Combination of Education and Productive Labor,and People's Well-round Human Development
Both labor education and the combination of education and productive labor are important parts of education policy in China.The two parts are closely related but with different implications.Labor education requires the targeted cultivation of students'industri-ous spirit through physical labor,while the combination of education and productive labor is crucial to the guideline of China's education policy and has more abundant connotation.La-bor education is one of the approaches to realize the combination of education and productive labor,the latter goes beyond labor education and requires also moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetic education,to be further coordinated with other macro and micro education poli-cies.The people's well-rounded development is the core issue of Marxism and the key goal of socialism.Productive labor is the correct and main way to realize the people's well-rounded development.The combination of education and productive labor plays a fundamental role in it and labor education also plays a vital role.
