In recent years,driven by intelligent technology and accompanied by the transformation of the economic and social development paradigm,full-time jobs in the work world have been continuously lost.Modern higher education is a product of industrialization,and its disciplinary and professional settings are basically consistent with the occupational di-vision of labor in the industry society.Its legitimacy mainly comes from preparing students for employment.Affected by the transformation of the technology economy paradigm,the concept of work in the post work society will be redefined,and the connection between high-er education and the work world will tend to be interrupted or become increasingly loose,the function of higher education based on human capital production to promote class mobility will also be weakened,and providing suitable professional talents for the work world will no longer be the core mission of higher education.Under the new social contract for education,higher education should go beyond instrumental rationality and return to the essence of edu-cation and the original intention of nurturing people,transforming from"preparing for em-ployment"and"serving work"to adapting to"post production"and leading"post work".
