Research on the Applicability of PAD Class for Postgraduate Academic Ability Development
Cultivating postgraduate talents with outstanding academic ability is an important mission of postgraduate education,and it is also the driving force to promote scientific research innovation and high-quality development of the country.The PAD class teaching model proposed by Professor Zhang Xuexin of Fudan University is closely in line with the requirements of the academic ability training of postgraduates in the new era.Its four-level teaching objectives and three-link teaching process help develop postgraduates'six academic ability elements,which include sensitive insight,critical thinking,systematic integration,standardized operation,rich innovation and accurate expression.In order to give full play to the role of PAD class in promoting the academic ability of graduate students,this paper puts forward the implementation strategies of PAD class aiming at cultivating the academic ability of postgraduates,including creating a heuristic inquiry situation,combining the academic frontier of the subject field,strengthening academic reading and operation training,integrating academic writing training,creating an equal and respectful discussion atmosphere,encouraging students to dare to challenge and explore through trial and error,and guiding students to attach importance to critical thinking and innovation.
