Will Academic Stressor Reduce Doctoral Students'Academic Resilience?—An Empirical Study Based on Resources Conservation Theory
As an important psychological resource, the development of academic resilience is related to the cultivation quality of high-level innovative talents in China.Combined with the theory of resource conserva-tion,this study used multiple linear regression methods to explore the influence and mechanism of challenge-hindrance academic stressor on the academic resilience of doctoral students. In terms of impact effects,it is found that there is heterogeneity in the effect of challenge-hindrance academic stressor on the academic resili-ence of doctoral students;Challenging academic stressor positively affects doctoral academic resilience, while hindrance academic stressor is opposite. In terms of influencing paths, challenging academic stressor enhances scientific resilience by improving the resource gain path of scientific research self-efficacy,while hindrance ac-ademic stressor reduces research resilience mainly through resource depletion mechanisms that reduce academ-ic self-efficacy and induce emotional exhaustion. In view of this,in order to provide good resource support for doctoral students'mental health, academic innovation and quality training,it is recommended that universities break through the cultivation and evaluation system that is not conducive to concentrating on research and blindly pursuing the quantity of achievements, and pay more attention to enhancing academic resilience by stimulating doctoral students'sense of academic self-efficacy and emotional intelligence.
