Research on the Sustainable Development Strategy for International Education in Australia in the Post-Epidemic Era
Under the influence of the epidemic, the high dependence of Australian higher education insti-tutions on international student income, the crisis of trust caused by the government's expulsion-style manage-ment of international students, and the increase of unstable factors in the study abroad environment have all ex-posed the vulnerability of Australian international education to a certain extent, and further accelerated the in-troduction of Australian's new international education strategy. Its strategic initiatives focus on enhancing the resilience of international education and promoting sustainable development in four aspects:goal setting, talent cultivation, brand effect, and institutional innovation. The strategy can also provide lessons for China's sustain-able development of international education in terms of attracting international students and encouraging nation-al students to study in non-developed countries and regions.
