Revitalization of Higher Education in Central and Western China:Policy Motivation,Realistic Dilemma and Future Trend
At present,based on the political motivation of"strategic needs",the economic motivation of"economic needs"and the value motivation of"human needs",the Party and the government have successively issued a series of higher education policies in the central and western regions,which have enriched the conno-tation of revitalization and provided the development impetus,but the higher education in the central and west-ern regions still has problems such as lack of characteristics,weak externality and unreasonable structure.In or-der to break through the path dependence of the dominant logic,it is necessary to adhere to the Party's overall leadership of the central and western higher education cause and the basic plan of stable development;Aban-don quantity first and innovate the value concept of higher education in central and western China;Based on the reality of the central and western regions,give priority to the development of higher vocational education;Strengthen regional coordination and cooperation to condense the characteristics of higher education in the cen-tral and western regions.
