In the face of the dual role of the disciplinary organizations, universities need to give full play to their positive role and overcome the difficulties they bring in promoting interdisciplinary education. From the perspectives of model, resources, and culture, the organizational dilemmas in interdisciplinary education prima-rily manifest in three ways. These include the mutual reinforcement of disciplinary organizations and specialized education, the allocation of educational resources based on disciplinary divisions, and the hindrance of interdis-ciplinary educational environments by the culture of disciplinary organizations. To resolve these organizational dilemmas and facilitate the integration of interdisciplinary education with existing disciplinary organizations,u-niversities need to establish the concept of interdisciplinary education, strengthen the construction of overall planning and coordination mechanisms, and optimize the internal structure of discipline organizations.
