Historical Institutionalism Analysis of Policy Change in Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education
A sound policy system guarantees the high-quality development of Chinese-Foreign Coopera-tion in Running Schools(CFCRS).Taking the historical institutionalism as analysis perspective,the study ana-lyzed the national-level CFCRS institutions since 1978 and refined three findings about the CFCRS policy change:its evolution has undergone four stages including exploration,establishment,construction and deepe-ning;both path dependence and incremental transformation led to the hybrid pattern;the multiple factors em-bedded within the global-national-local level and political-economic-cultural area collectively actuated.The study hopes to provide inferences to the coming discussions on CFCRS policy adjustments,attributed by in-tegrating glonacal agency heuristic model into the framework of historical institutionalism.
