On the Status and Influencing Factors of College Teachers'Work Engagement in Guangdong Province
Using the work input scale developed by Rich et al.,that is,18 JES scales,600 teachers in 12 colleges in Guangdong Province were investigated,and 540 valid questionnaires were collected.The data were analyzed using SPSS20.0 statistical software.The survey results show that the work input of college teachers in Guangdong Province is at a high level,which is significantly affected by factors such as age,education,years of work and monthly income.Accordingly,from the perspective of the individual characteristics of university teachers in Guangdong,it is proposed that the work engagement level of college teachers can be improved from the aspects of cognitive remodeling,relationship remodeling,reasonable catharsis of emotions,improvement of ability and literacy,and enhancement of work fulfillment.
