Bridging Teacher Education and Neuroscience:Value,Content,Pathways,and Actions——A Scope Review Based on 67 Core English Literature from 2000 to 2022
Bridging Teacher Education and Neuroscience is emerging as an interdisciplinary research field,which lacks a comprehensive review.This study adopts a scope review to analyze 67 relevant articles(2000-2022),focusing on the four major themes of the value,content,pathways,and actions in this field.The results show that the value of this field involves promoting educational teaching and professional development of teachers.The content emphasizes teachers acquiring knowl-edge in neuroscience.The pathways involve knowledge translation,collaborations,and teacher neuroscience courses.The actions encompass scientific research,collaborative exchanges,and practical applications,reflected in exploring and revea-ling the neural mechanisms in education,establishing partnerships,applying research outcomes and technologies to teacher education,and conducting teacher training programs.The disciplines of teacher education and neuroscience have initially connected,deeper interdisciplinary integration is needed for future development.
