How Does Distributed Leadership Improve Classroom Teaching Quality?——The Chain Mediating Role of Teacher Collaboration and Teacher Teaching Effectiveness
The classroom teaching quality is the key to the high-quality development of basic education,and it is the top priority to deepen the curriculum and teaching reform.Based on the survey data of 2,229 teachers in TALIS2018 Shanghai,this study used structural equation modeling to explore and reveal the impact of distributed leadership on classroom teaching quality and its mechanism of action.The results show that distributed leadership significantly and positively affects classroom teaching quality;teacher cooperation and teacher teaching efficacy have both independent and chain mediating roles between distributed leadership and classroom teaching quality.Based on this,research rec-ommendations are made:principals should make the distribution of power more effective and make leadership an art;principals should let teachers have a sense of gain in cooperation and effectively improve the sense of teaching effica-cy;andprincipals should move from focusing on teaching itself to instructional leadership to truly improve the quality of classroom teaching.
