The Flow of Emotion:A Study on the Impact of Teachers'Enthusiasm on Adolescents'Reading Pleasure——A Multi-level Model Analysis Based on PISA(2018)Data
On the basis of comprehensive previous research,this paper explores the impact mechanism of teachers'enthusi-asm on students'reading enjoyment,and applies multi-level analysis method to focus on the moderating effect of school-lev-el factors.By analyzing the PISA 2018 data,it was found that there is a significant positive relationship between individually perceived teachers'subject enthusiasm,teaching enthusiasm and students'reading enjoyment.Teacher support plays a partial mediating role between teacher enthusiasm and reading enjoyment.At the school level,teachers'subject enthusiasm has a significant positive impact on students'reading enjoyment.Further analysis revealed that school subjects and teaching atmosphere have cross-level effects on individual perceptions and school-level factors,which provides a new perspective and practical starting point for us to deeply understand the impact of educational environment on students'reading pleasure.To this end,cultivating students'reading pleasure requires improving teachers'subject and teaching enthusiasm,cultivating and maintaining a passionate teaching and research environment,and developing teachers'ability to provide learning sup-port in multiple ways.
