Mechanisms of Implicit Identity:The Homogeneity of Everyday Life in Contemporary Capi-talism——Interpretation of the Volume 3 of Lefebvre's Critique of Everyday Life
Unlike the traditional bourgeoisie that simply resorts to violent political domination when it has just encountered the proletariat's resistance, the hegemony proposed by Gramsci is no longer a submission af-ter high pressure, but an identification of the oppressed class with the bourgeoisie's domination from the bottom of its heart, and Lefebvre wants to pull the mechanism of identity in the hegemony into his own cri-tique of everyday life.Identity and everyday discourse are the"life-giving spring breeze and rain"penetra-tion of the ruling class ideology into everyday life, which subtly conceals the real oppressive relations of slavery and unequal power through the words that are spoken every day.Of course, the real basis of this im-plicit domination of homogeneity is the homogeneous mechanism of bourgeois everyday life itself.
