Comparative Literature Philology:The Origin and Use of Tang Style Place Names in Gozan Literature
Annotation of place names is one of the main tasks of classical philology annotation,and comparative literary philology also needs to annotate place names.It is necessary to annotate the correspondence be⁃tween ancient and modern place names,as well as the communication relationship between place names.The Tang style place names in Japanese Gozan Literature are very rich,and the Japanese place name dic⁃tionary is also very rich.However,there are not many entries related to Tang style place names,which brings certain problems to reading and research.Tangfeng place name is a Chinese alternative name for lo⁃cal place names and a product of Sino Japanese exchange relations.The correspondence between Tang style place names and local place names,the Chinese origin and structure of Tang style place names,and the fact that only Tang style place names are used in Gozan Literature,with almost no use of local place names,is a boundary line between Gozan Literature and native language literature.These are all annota⁃tion tasks in comparative literary literature.
