This paper shows the proofs of several conclusions about the shortest confidence interval when the probability density function of the pivot quantity is unimodal function,strictly monotonically decrea-sing function,or strictly increasing function,respectively,and demonstrates how to use them to obtain the shortest confidence interval with specific examples.
