This paper explores a multi-level and progressive teaching reform motivated by the basic knowl-edge-application and practice-scientific research based on the problem-oriented with ideological and political elements approach,with the goal of stimulating learning interest,driving learning motivation,consolida-ting basic knowledge,enhancing practical ability,broadening cross-vision,guiding scientific research,and utilizing the value of Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations in scientific calculation of related interdisciplinary fields.The analyzation of the reform effect in Northwestern Polytechnical University is presented.
