Nansha District of Guangzhou is located at the estuary of the the Pearl River and the geographical and geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with unique geographical advantages.Nansha is entrusted with an important task in the connection with the rules of Hong Kong and Macao. The mixed traffic of passengers and goods on the roads in the central urban area of Nansha and the current situation in Nansha District are characterized by excessive light control on the main roads, unreasonable speed lim-its,and a lack of efficient and continuous expressways connecting major functional groups within the area.In order to support the develop-ment of Nansha as a high-level gateway hub for opening up to the outside world in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, further deepen the comprehensive transportation system of Nansha, improve the efficiency of passenger transportation in the area, and achieve the separation of passenger and freight, this article takes the Shinan Avenue node of the Phoenix Avenue Rapid Renovation Project as the background, conducts planning and traffic analysis, and matches the nodes with future traffic volume for rapid transformation. The ren-ovation of the Shinan Avenue node can further shorten the travel time from the central urban area to the surrounding urban areas, improve the level of regional infrastructure construction and service capacity. When conducting scheme research,it is necessary to optimize and con-firm from multiple aspects such as project scale, land use conditions, investment costs, etc. The rapid transformation of Fenghuang Avenue and the node design of Shinan Avenue can provide effective reference for similar complex traffic node designs.
