In order to investigate the correlation between tensile elongation test and viscosivity test,the improved calculation method of tensile deformation and load curve of compound modified rubber asphalt was proposed.The results of viscosivity test and tensile elongation test at different temperatures were compared.The results show that the mechanical principles of the two tests are basically similar,and the load-deformation curves obtained during the test process are similar.The viscosivity and toughness calculated by the two tests have a correla-tion.After establishing a correlation with a large number of test data,the viscosivity and toughness indexes can be calculated by using the tensile elongation test instead of the viscosivity test.In addition to obtaining the maximum tension and deformation,the viscosivity and tough-ness indexes can be obtained according to the calculation method proposed in this paper,so as to evaluate the asphalt properties from multi-ple angles and enrich the evaluation indexes and means.
