Uniaxial Compressive Strength Prediction Model for Modified Rubber Concrete
In response to the national green environmental protection policy, waste tires that are not easily degradable were mechanically processed into rubber particles.By quantifying the impact of rubber particles on the mechanical properties of concrete,a balance was struck between the advantages of rubber concrete and the reduction in its mechanical properties.Using the experiments described in this paper and referencing previous data,a modified uniaxial compressive strength formula for rubber concrete was derived, considering the three factors of normal concrete compressive strength, rubber replacement rate, and replacement aggregate particle size.By introducing a modified factor for the influence of rubber particle modification,a compressive strength model for modified rubber concrete was obtained. The results showed that there was a strong correlation between the modification influence rate and the modified compressive strength.Furthermore, the relative er-ror between the predicted and measured values of this revised model is mostly within 15%,indicating high accuracy in predicting the com-pressive strength of modified rubber concrete. The model provides a certain reference value for the use of rubber concrete.
