Purpose To explore the application effect of wireless portable laparoscopy in choledochotomy and stone removal surgery. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 78 patients with cholelithiasis who underwent choledochotomy and stone removal surgery in the Department of General Surgery of the Anhui Provincial Corps Hospital of the Armed Police from June 2023 to No-vember 2023.According to the difference in the equipment used during the operation, they were divided into a wireless laparoscopy group and a traditional wired laparoscopy group, with 39 cases in each group. The perioperative indicators, fatigue score of the scopist, serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-1[3(IL-1(3),and C-reactive protein(CRP)were compared between the two groups. Results All surgeries were successfully completed. There were no significant differences between the observation group and the control group in terms of operation time, blood loss, surgical difficulty score, postoperative drainage tube retention time, length of hospital stay, postoperative complications, and patient visual analog pain score(P>0.05).The differences in preoperative prepara-tion time and fatigue score of the scopist between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the levels of serum TNF-α and IL-1β between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),while the difference in serum CRP levels after treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Wireless laparoscopy is not different from wired laparoscopy in terms of surgical outcomes, but it can shorten preoperative preparation time, reduce scopist fatigue, reduce the restraint of cables on the operator, and improve the portability of surgical operations. It optimizes surgical efficiency and is more conducive to surgical treatment in outdoor environments in the future.
