A Study on the Plant Scenery in Ancient Baby-playing Paintings
The ancient baby-playing paintings is an important theme in ancient paintings,reflecting to a certain extent the ideal mode of ancient garden life.Children's activity scenes in ancient baby-playing paintings usually occur in gardens where plants are the most common garden elements.Therefore,studying of the plant scene of ancient baby-playing paintings is beneficial for further exploring the cultural connotations of plants and their relationship with constructing children's activity spaces.It needed to collect ancient baby-paintings from various periods.Then,through the combination of the image analysis method and literature analysis method,the plant species and configuration characteristics were analyzed according to the factors such as plant morphology.Finally,the commonness and characteristics of plant scenes in ancient baby-playing paintings were summarized and analyzed.Among the 133 collected and organized baby-playing paintings with plant elements,plants often have auspicious symbolic meanings,and the planting forms are diverse.Some plants appear in the form of flower arrangements or fruit plates.Plants are an essential element for children to get close to nature.
