摘要

园林树木学作为园林等相关农林专业的专业必修课,旨在培养学生对园林树木的识别及应用能力.园林树木学课程实践教学在现存的知识点繁多、依赖校外实践、同科树种难分辨等普遍问题的基础上,结合仲恺农业工程学院白云区新校区建设的契机,在校园内规划建设植物园,通过"两园合一"、匹配教学内容、提供标牌和二维码在线资源等方式,为学生提供良好的实践教学场地,并开发了包括开放数据库在内的丰富的教学资源.该教学改革措施对于提高学生的实践能力、学科综合能力和创新能力具有重要意义.

Abstract

Landscape Dendrology is a pivotal course in landscape architecture and related fields designed to enhance students'proficiency in identifying and utilizing landscaping trees.The general issues of the landscape dendrology practical course include numerous knowledge points,reliance on off-campus practical training,difficulty in distinguishing similar tree species in the same genus,etc.Taking the opportunity of the botanical garden construction within the new campus of Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering in Baiyun District by integrating'Two gardens in one',matching the teaching contents,offering the physical signage,and online resources via QR codes,it provides students with an idealized practical teaching field.Besides,based on the resources accumulated by the teaching staff,this course has established a comprehensive database of landscaping trees as well as enriched the educational resources.This reformative approach significantly boosts students'practical skills,interdisciplinary knowledge,and innovative thinking in the field of Landscape Dendrology.
