An Analysis of the Learning Effects of Digital Displays in Museums on Children
Digital media is widely adopted in museum exhibitions as an auxiliary interpretative tool,enriching the learning experience for child audiences.By means of observation,interview and questionnaire to 247 groups of selected child viewers and their companions,the thesis makes a preliminary summary about the outcome the children have learned from the four main types of digital displays in museums,then proposes a few suggestions for improving learning effects by integrating the types of digital displays,strengthening their suitability for children,and tapping into the learning potential of digital displays for children.
