The Chinese-Characterized Museology System Development and Innovation in Context,Status and Prospect Considered with 2024 International Museum Day Theme of'Museums for Education and Research'
Museum Studies as the multi-disciplinary program is always the concern among the academia.Chinese museums have been taking the mission of academic research from their initial establishment.Museology research as important part of museum studies has undergone a long process of development along,yet it grows less than perfect in the connection between research and practice,the construction of professions and disciplinary system and other aspects.The systematical construction of museological programs,academics and discourses with Chinese characteristics,Chinese styles and Chinese ethos are fundamentally based on the optimized structure of disciplines and subjects,the improved system of theories and methods applied to the study of museology as well as the in-depth and expansive connotation and extension in the discourses on museum.Chinese museums have no choice but to go all out to get themselves out of the current dilemma in development with the strategies for innovation,meanwhile,which is the inherent demands for Chinese museums practice and disciplinary development in the new era.
