The Maritime Silk Road is an assemblage of life experiences related to ancient people and the ocean.It is a life landscape woven around the actions of'maritime dwellers'involving the ocean,ports,ships,and goods.This article focuses on the life experiences of voyagers active along the Maritime Silk Road.It highlights the Maritime Silk-Road heritage sites represented by the Tang Dynasty Guangzhou city and the Belitung shipwreck,exploring the living world of maritime dwellers.By intertwining life landscapes with cultural heritages,the article proposes a path to explore the cultural heritage value of the Maritime Silk Road.The article suggests that sublime and majestic cultural heritage is,first and foremost,the product of life experiences and emotions of humans.Cultural heritage is born in human life,and only by returning to the perspective of life itself can we perceive the vitality of life beneath those grand narratives.
