Beijing 11th-17th Century's Multi-Story Masonry Pagodas Periodized by Shape and Layout
This thesis uses the architectural archaeological shape and layout typology research method to periodize the architectural forms of the multi-story masonry pagodas in Beijing through the Liao and the Ming Dynasties.Then it conducts an in-depth discussion about the issues concerning'imitation'and reconstruction in the construction process of the masonry pagodas in Beijing,as well as the cases with questionable ages.
