摘要
当前人工智能正驱动着社会科学研究经历一场方法论革命.为促进智能化时代社会科学各学科间的交流与对话,推动社会科学及管理科学研究的范式转变、知识融合、专业升级、主题拓展和方法创新,2023年10月13日至15日,由厦门大学社会科学学部牵头、厦门大学公共事务学院和公共政策研究院会同《公共管理学报》编辑部在厦门大学联合举办了"AI驱动的社会科学研究与公共治理新范式的构建"高端学术论坛.与会者围绕人工智能驱动的社会科学研究、人工智能与各学科发展、人工智能与公共治理、以及人工智能对社会科学研究的挑战等相关理论与实践问题进行了讨论.会议最后发布了《AI+公共治理研究学术共同体:厦门倡议》.
Abstract
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China outlined the development of artificial intelligence(Al)technology and industry as essential to modernizing the nation's governance system and gov-ernance capability.In the meantime,Al is leading a methodological revolution in social science research.To foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration,promote the paradigm shift in social science research,and facilitate knowledge integration,professional upgrading,thematic expansion,and methodological innovation,the Faculty of Social Science at Xiamen University,along with its affiliated institutions,the School of Public Affairs and the School of Public Policy,cohosted the High-end Academic Forum"AI for Social Sciences Re-search and the Construction of a New Paradigm of Public Governance"with the Editing Board of the Journal of Public Administration from October 13th to 15th,2023.The forum,which took place at Xiamen University,brought together domestic and international scholars to exchange ideas on the theoretical and practical issues related to AI-driven social science research,AI and discipline development,AI and public governance,and the challenges AI poses to the social science enterprise.The forum also released the"Xiamen Initiative for the A-cademic Community of AI+Public Governance Research"as a main achievement of the event.
