摘要
案例研究在中国公共管理研究中的广泛应用伴随着诸多质疑之声.本文基于国内知名学者的深度笔谈,多维度剖析了案例研究在方法滥用、研究质量把控等方面的症结所在,由此入题深入探讨了新型案例研究的本土化发展路径、高质量案例研究的方法论基础以及案例研究的前沿拓展方向.研究发现:案例研究方法的滥用主要源于规范性缺失;高质量案例研究的关键在于实现理论与观察的反复融合,加强"入口"与"出口"控制;中国本土化的新型案例研究范式应立足问题导向,彰显"六度"内涵;案例研究的创新发展有赖于个体体验式与洞察式的复杂性方法论、对不同研究问题类型的适配,以及跨情境、跨学科的整合.中国案例研究应自觉承担起应对人类社会复杂性挑战的使命,在理论批判、概念创新、实践指引等方面实现新的突破,推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化.
Abstract
The widespread application of case study research in Chinese public administration has been ac-companied by numerous doubts and critiques.Based on in-depth discussions among renowned Chinese schol-ars,this article conducts a multi-dimensional analysis of the crux of methodological misuse and research quali-ty control in case study research.From this starting point,it delves into the localized development path of new-type case study research,the methodological foundations of high-quality case study research,and the frontier directions for expanding case study research.The study finds that the misuse of case study methodology primar-ily stems from a lack of standardization;the key to high-quality case study research lies in achieving repeated integration of theory and observation,and strengthening the control of"entry"and"exit";China's localized new-type case study research paradigm should be problem-oriented and embody the connotation of"six dimen-sions";the innovative development of case study research relies on individual experiential and insightful com-plexity methodology,adaptation to different types of research questions,and cross-contextual and cross-disci-plinary integration.Chinese case study research should consciously undertake the mission of addressing the complexity challenges facing human society,achieve new breakthroughs in theoretical critique,conceptual in-novation,and practical guidance,and promote the modernization of the national governance system and gover-nance capacity.
