Nowadays,most of rivers have health problems catholically in the world.Health problems of rivers haye drawn the attention of many governments and academic societies.The connotation and latest research pro-gress of fiver health were discussed.Taking Hei River basin as an example,the health conditions of Hei River basin were assessed in water.soil.plants and functions from four different aspects based on Hei River basin'spe-cific characteristics of nature environment.The results showed that Hei River Basin has health problems and its healthy life has been seriously threatened.
