The characteristics of soil water in different vegetation coverage on the south-eastern margin Mu us sandy land
The soil water on southeastern margin in mu us sandy land had been observed. The difference of soil water storage capacity and spatial and temporal distribution of soil water had been analyzed in different vegetation coverage. The results showed that on time scales, the soil water content in fixed sandy land is autumn > spring > summer, but in semi fixed dune and moving dune the soil water content is summer > autumn > spring. On verti-cal, in whole profiles, the Varity of soil water content in fixed sandy land forms a S curve, but in semi fixed dune and moving dune soil water content form a anti -S curve. In 0 -200cm sand layer, the soil water storage capacity in moving dune is the largest, in fixed sandy land that is the least, and the number of that in semi fixed dune is in the middle of those three types.
