Relocation is an important means for poverty alleviation.Under the influence of changes in livelihood capital,farmers will make different action choices based on their own considerations.In this context,based on the expectancy theory,the research approach of interpretive sociology is adopted,and the in-depth interviews and field observations are used to analyze the cognition and behavior of relocated farmers in Yanshan-Taihang Mountains area and their attitude to the relocation for poverty alleviation,and the changes of farmers'livelihoods and their action logic are studied from the perspective of livelihood prospects.The livelihood strategies of relocated farmers in Yanshan-Taihang Mountains under different livelihood backgrounds are presented by analyzing their own capital and family reproduction,and considering income,welfare,risk and other gains and losses.Research shows that the decision-making behavior of relocated farmers on livelihood output is not only influenced by the maximization of economic benefits,but also by the psychological factors faced by farmers in uncertain environments.The livelihood choices and action logic of farmers are subjective decisions that are made in specific behavioral environments.
