Promoting regional common prosperity through high-quality tourism development is an important goal of tourism development in the new era.The spatial and temporal mismatch characteristics of tourism industry agglomeration and urban-rural income gap in Wuling Mountain area and the influencing factors were explored systematically by using location entropy,Theil index, spatial mismatch model, and panel regression model. The results show that:1)Tourism industry agglomeration releases industrial association effect and multiplier effect through agglomeration economy to expand the geographical scope of tourism influence, generating localization economy and specialization economy to play the positive external effect of tourism,by enriching the people and promoting urban-rural integration to promote the residents'income increase, which work together to narrow the urban-rural income gap and form the spatial mismatch pattern.2)Degree of spatial mismatch between tourism industry agglomeration and urban-rural income gap is increasing in Wuling Mountain area, spatial mismatch relationship is changed mainly from the negative mismatch to the situation of potential balance between negative mismatch and positive mismatch.3)The spatial mismatch pattern of tourism industry agglomeration and urban-rural income gap in Wuling Mountain area is mainly positively influenced by tourism resource endowment, tourism development level, economic development level, and industrial structure, while tourism urbanization, infrastructure level, and government macro-control have no significant impact.
