Effect of mixed Medicago sativa and Leymus chinensis with different ratios on quality of silages
To explore the effect of different proportions of Medicago sativa and Leymus chinensis mixed storage on the quality of fermentation and nutrition of silage, the experiments were conducted to determine the appropriate mixing ratio.A total of 8 treatments were set up in mass ratio(M.sativa∶L.chinensis)of 10∶0,8∶2,7∶3,6∶4,4∶6,3∶7,2∶8,and 0∶10,respectively.After 60 days of storage, sensory evaluation and chemical composition analysis were conducted on these different proportions of mixed silage, and the fermentation quality was scored by V-Score system. The nutritional and fermentation quality of different ratios of silage forage was comprehensively evaluated by grey correlation analysis, and the optimal mixing ratio was determined. It indicates that the mixed silage of M.sativa and L.chinensis could better preserve and balance the nutrients of silage and improve the quality of silage fermentation compared with single storage, and the appropriate mixing ratio is 6∶4.
