文中研究不同面子意识对餐饮食物浪费行为的影响及其作用机理,并分析情境在上述机制中的调节作用.研究发现,社会型面子意识通过激发个体地位动机进而引发食物浪费行为,道德型面子意识通过增强责任感进而减少食物浪费行为.相比私密情境,公开情境下社会型面子意识激发了更强的地位动机,并由此引发更多浪费行为;相比私密情境,公开情境下道德型面子意识激发了更强的责任感.
Abstract
This research investigates the effects of different face-saving consciousnesses on food waste behavior in restaurants and their mechanisms of action,and analyzes the moderating role of context in these mechanisms.It is found that social face awareness triggers food waste behavior by motivating individual status motivation,and moral face awareness reduces food waste behavior by enhancing the sense of responsibility.Moral face-saving motivates a greater sense of responsibility in private situations than in public situations.Social face-consciousness motivates more status motivation and leads to more wasteful behaviors in the public context than in the private context.
