Impact of landscape resources conservation policy on the behavior intention of tourists and aborigines:A case study of Shennongjia National Park pilot area
Taking the scenic resources of Shennongjia National Park as the research object, based on the theory of planned behavior and 296 valid questionnaires from Shennongjia National Park and taking conservation policy as a regulatory variable,we established a research framework for analyzing the interrelationship between"conservation behavior intention"and"conservation policy".Then,we developed a second-order structural equation model to reveal the internal relationship between conservation behavior intentions and conservation policies in national parks. The results indicated that:The standardized path coefficients of conservation behaviors, social norms, attitudes towards conservation behaviors, and perceived behavior control are 0.680,0.760,and 0.65,respectively,suggesting that conservation policies has a significant positive effect on the conservation behavior of interest groups.Based on the research findings, the policy recommendations are as follows:1)Strengthening the ecological management and promotional education to enhance conservation awareness of both indigenous residents and tourists, implementing environmental education to regulate the conservation behavior.2)Conservation policies should prioritize human well-being and advocate for the promotion of public interests.3)Balancing the relation between human activities and scenic resources to advance the sustainable development of resources.
