Effect of spatial morphology on land surface temperature and their interaction:A case study of main urban area of Jinan City
Based on multi-source data such as three-dimensional building data and Landsat remote sensing images in the main urban area of Jinan City, the interactive relationship and spatial effect of spatial morphology factors on land surface temperature(LST)are analyzed respectively by employing Geodetector and spatial Durbin model in six spatial morphology zones. The results show that:1)LST in the study area has significant positive spatial correlation and obvious spatial agglomeration. The high value area concentrates on the central areas of the city, while the low value area concentrates on the marginal areas in the north and south of the urban areas.2)LST is affected not only by the interaction between spatial morphology factors within the space, but also by the impact of spatial morphology factors from adjacent spaces.Proportions of green space, water, and cropland have a negative impact on the LST,while proportion of impervious surface and building evenness index generally have a positive impact.Distances to roads, industrial areas, and blue and green spaces of local areas show more significant effects on local LST than that on neighboring areas.3)Interaction relationship and spatial effect of spatial morphology on LST varies significantly among various spatial morphology zones. In open built-up areas, roads, industrial areas, blue and green spaces and building patterns of neighboring areas show obvious effects on local LST.In compact built-up areas, the interactive influences of proportion of impervious surface and building morphology factors are more prominent, building density and building height have a significant negative impact on LST.But in areas with high natural surface coverage, proportions of green space, water, cropland, and distance to industrial areas have a greater negative impact on LST.According to the research conclusions,it is suggested to adopt the planning strategies of coordinated optimization of multi-dimensional morphology factors and spatial linkage for effectively mitigating urban heat island effect. In addition,it is necessary to choose appropriate measures that are adaptation to local condition.
