Spatial pattern of urban vitality of national new districts in inland northwest China
Upgrading urban quality and creating vibrant space are important issues for high-quality urban development.Based on multi-source spatial data such as nighttime lighting data, point of interest data, road network data and building data, the spatial pattern of urban vitality in Lanzhou New District was explored and its influencing factors were analyzed by using entropy value method, spatial autocorrelation analysis,FD-CR model and optimal parameters-based geographical detector model, etc. The results show that:1)The urban vitality of Lanzhou New District is insufficient and unevenly distributed in space, overall showing the characteristics of decreasing from the center to the peripheral circles.2)The comprehensive vitality in Lanzhou New District shows a significantly positive spatial agglomeration,with"high-high"agglomerationin core areas and"low-low"agglomeration in peripheral areas.3)The comprehensive vitality of different urban functional areas is spatially heterogeneous.Hot spots are concentrated in the middle of the new district, showing the characteristic of"dense in the middle and sparse around",cold spots generally show the distribution characteristics of"more in the north, less in the south, clustered in the north and dispersed in the south".4)Urban vitality is not dominated by a single factor, but is the result of a combination of more factors.Traffic accessibility, urban function and geographical location significantly impact on urban vitality.Natural conditions and environmental quality do not directly affect urban vitality, but indirectly affect its spatial differentiation through coupling with other factors.
