Spatial representation difference in host-guest attachment in rural tourism area based on public participation GIS
With the continuous development of rural tourism, the rural tourism area has become a new space shared by residents and tourists.Scientifically presenting the spatial characteristics and differences in place attachment of residents and tourists in rural areas is of great significance for promoting the rational development and efficient management of rural tourism spaces.Based on the basic and spatial data of place attachment obtained in Yuanjia village,Shaanxi Province, this paper uses the spatial visualization analysis method of Public Participation Geographic Information System(PPGIS)to study the spatial representation differences of host-guest attachment in rural tourism areas. The results indicate:1)Host-guest attachment exhibits dynamic changes within a certain range and diminishes with the increase in perceived distance in Yuanjia village.2)The intensity of host-guest attachment shows significant spatial distribution differences, forming a spatial main structure of attachment in hotspot areas.3)There are differences and superposition between the spatial distribution structure and intensity of host-guest attachment, with specific situational characteristics.4)The spatial distribution of host-guest attachment intensity is uneven. The integrated measurement method for place attachment based on the PPGIS used in this paper provides technical support for enhancing the development of emotional connections between people and places in tourism spaces. It also serves as a case reference for a deeper understanding of the preferences in host-guest attachment in rural tourism areas and effective spatial management and planning.
