Influence of network information acquisition ability on farmers'pesticide packaging waste recycling behavior
Recycling the pesticide packaging waste is essential to protect environment,reduce pollution and promote sustainable agricultural development.Using the China Rural Revitalization Survey(CRRS)data,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of network information acquisition ability on farmers'pesticide packaging waste recycling behavior.The results show that:1)Network information acquisition ability significantly impacts farmers'pesticide packaging waste recycling behavior.2)The impact of network information acquisition ability on farmers'pesticide packaging waste recycling behavior has specific heterogeneity,and the impact of network information acquisition ability on young farmers and farmers participating in cooperatives is more significant.3)Network information acquisition ability can promote farmers to participate in pesticide packaging waste recycling by improving their benefit cognition.Specifically,with the improvement of farmers'network information acquisition ability,farmers can more comprehensively understand the role of pesticide packaging waste recycling in improving soil quality,protecting the ecological environment and increasing crop yield,thus promoting their participation in pesticide packaging waste recycling.Some policy suggestions are put forward,such as strengthening network construction in rural areas,actively carrying out network application technology training for farmers,enhancing group inclusiveness of network information acquisition ability,and actively publicizing the economic and ecological benefits of recycling pesticide packaging waste with the help of network platform.
