Research on the coupling coordination relationship between agricultural modernization and carbon emission efficiency in China
On the basis of elucidating the coupling and coordination relationship between agricultural modernization and carbon emission efficiency in China, taking 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2021 as the research area, this paper uses a modified coupling and coordination degree model to calculate the coupling and coordination degree between agricultural modernization and carbon emission efficiency, and analyzes its temporal characteristics.Based on this, the Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition method is used to reveal the spatial differences and sources of the coupling and coordination degree between agricultural modernization and carbon emission efficiency, and the kernel density estimation is applied to explored its dynamic evolution characteristics. It is found that:1)The average degree of coupling coordination is relatively lower, still being on the brink of imbalance.2)There is a significant spatial difference in the coupling coordination between China's agricultural modernization and carbon emission efficiency, mainly due to regional differences, with the largest difference between the northeastern and the western regions.3)The coupling coordination degree shows multi-polarization trend at the national level, and the polarization trends in northeast and western regions are similar to overall trend, while the coupling coordination degree in eastern region shows double polarization trend, and that in central region shows a trend changing from double polarization to non-polarization.
