Impact of agricultural productive services on green production behavior of farmers
The agricultural productive services are the important links between small farmers and modern agriculture, but the discussion on the effect of agricultural productive services on farmers'green production behavior is still insufficient.Based on micro-survey data of grain growers in three provinces of Shaanxi,Gansu, and Ningxia, this paper empirically analyzes the impact of agricultural productive services on farmers'green production behavior using an ordered Probit model, and examines the role of information acquisition and risk reduction through the mediation effect model. The research results show:Firstly, agricultural productive services can significantly promote farmers'green production behavior.Secondly, heterogeneous analysis reveals that the positive impact of sowing services and field management services on farmers'green production behavior is greater than that of land preparation services and harvesting services.Agricultural productive services have a stronger promoting effect on the green production behavior of farmers who are characterized by lower educational levels, lower proportion of agricultural income, and smaller planting areas.Thirdly, the mechanism analysis shows that farmers'participation in agricultural productive services can promote their green production behavior by acquiring technical information and reducing technical risks. Therefore,it is necessary to further improve the agricultural productive service system, enhance the level of agricultural productive services,so as to promote the green development of agriculture.
