Dynamic evolution and spatio-temporal convergence of structural imbalance of resource allocation from the perspective of new quality productive forces:A case study of Shaanxi Province
The new quality productive forces necessitate departing from traditional development paths and encourages innovative allocation of production factors, resulting in a substantial increase in total factor productivity.Shaanxi Province is the economic engine in western China, but long-standing"Shaanxi phenomenon"has trapped it in a high-quality development dilemma. In the study, from the perspective of new quality productivity forces, the dual imperatives of optimizing input structures and ensuring non-decreasing environmental welfare are integrated to construct a measurement model of structural imbalance in resource allocation in Shaanxi Province,Dagum's Gini coefficient decomposition method and kernel density estimation method are used to comprehensively reveal regional differences in structural imbalances in resource allocation and their evolutionary characteristics, and the Dynamic Spatial Durbin Panel Model is employed to scrutinize the spatial and temporal convergence of structural imbalances. The findings indicate that:1)The structural imbalance in resource allocation in Shaanxi Province is on the rise, primarily attributable to underdevelopment, with the contribution rate in the order of"capital-ecological construction-energy-labor",and decreasing in the order of"southern-northern-central Shaanxi".2)The overall disparity in structural imbalances in resource allocation within Shaanxi Province is gradually diminishing, driven mainly by intra-regional differences, with a phenomenon of central rightward shift and left tail drag, the relative difference is gradually widening. The intra-regional differences in central and northern Shaanxi are narrowing while in southern Shaanxi it exhibits an expansion. The inter-regional differences between southern and northern Shaanxi is obvious.3)The structural imbalance in resource allocation in Shaanxi Province demonstrates β-conditional convergence, with the convergence speed declining in the order of"central-northern-southern Shaanxi".The research results provide useful perspectives for solving the structural imbalance in resource allocation and provide scientific references for the high-quality development of China's economy.
