Impact of agricultural machinery service localization on farmland transfer:Evidence from micro farmers
With the rapid reduction of cross-region agricultural machinery service area, the agricultural machinery service market is showing a trend of localization.Based on the survey data of 1551 micro farmers, this study analyzes and tests the impact of agricultural machinery service localization on farmland transfer and the mechanism. It is found that,1)The localization of agricultural machinery service increases by 1%,the proportion of farmers'farmland transfer-out decreases by 0.287%.Conversely,the proportion of farmers'farmland transfer-in increases by 0.405%.In terms of the transfer proportion,56.69%of the farmland transfer in the survey area is triggered by the localization of agricultural machinery service.2)From the perspective of the mechanism,61.45%of the negative and 72.34%positive effects of agricultural machinery service localization on farmland transfer are realized by reducing the transaction costs of service outsourcing in the process of operating farmland.3)The localization of agricultural machinery service not only inhibits the transfer out of farmland and promotes the transfer in of farmland, but also realizes the rebalancing between the transfer out and transfer in through the adjustment channels of cultivated land resource endowment and part-time degree.4)The localization of agricultural machinery service has intensified the market competition of farmland circulation to a certain extent, which makes the farmland circulation achieve the balance of supply and demand at a higher rent level. The level of agricultural machinery service localization increases by 1%,the willingness to transfer out farmland has resulted in an increase of 172 yuan/hectare in rent, and the willingness to transfer-in farmland has resulted in an increases of 80.5 yuan/ha in rent.Based on this, this article proposes suggestions for promoting the integrated development of agricultural machinery service scale management and land scale management.
