The proposed"Chinese+Vocational Education"model offers an innovative idea for the globalization of International Chinese Language Education and vocational education.Based on the background that the development of the"Chinese+Vocational Education"model is still in its early stage,this article clarifies the concepts and applicable scenarios of"Chinese+","+Chinese","Chinese+Vocational Skills","Chinese+Vocational Education",vocational Chinese(Zhongwen)and vocational Chinese(Hanyu).It defines"Chinese+Vocational Education"as a distinctive educational model that integrates International Chinese Language Education with vocational education.This article also analyzes the differences and connections between"Chinese+Vocational Education"and"Vocational Chinese".It was based on a three-dimensional analysis framework of"Essence-Boundary-Positioning"to analyze the fundamental connotation of"Chinese+Vocational Education".Finally,this article explains three typical models and characteristics of"Chinese+Vocational Education".
