The article analyzes the practical necessity of applying engineering concepts to the evaluation of international Chinese teaching.By combining the guiding documents on educational evaluation reform,the fourth-generation educational evaluation theory,and other relevant policy bases and theoretical support,it is clear that the only way to reform international Chinese teaching evaluation today is to move toward engineering.The realization path needs to be guided by"four evaluations"(the improvement of outcome evaluation,the enhancement of process evaluation,the exploration of value-added evaluations,and comprehensive evaluations),while also clarifying the goals and principles,content and path of engineering innovation.By applying engineering thinking to highlight the advantages of integrated innovation,and under the guidance of engineering principles,it coordinates different elements and participants in teaching evaluation and achieves the process of each evaluation link,standardizing evaluation standards,and modularizing evaluation subsystems at all levels.Ultimately,the goal is to form an organic system of teaching evaluation with multiple elements working together and complementary advantages.
